Training

SAPOE members regularly provide training to staff in their local authority on how to deliver high quality outdoor learning.

Across Scotland there are a wide range of opportunities for Continuing Professional Development and a number of national courses can be found in the Events and Training section of our website.

SAPOE members have been working closely with colleagues in the OEAP (Outdoor Education Advisors Panel) to provide training in Scotland on their Outdoor Learning cards.  The cards are a teaching resource which can contribute to the delivery of quality outdoor learning experiences. To find out more about the cards, visit our pages on OEAP Outdoor Learning Cards and OEAP Outdoor Learning Cards Courses.

If you are interested in finding out more or want to access a training course please contact your SAPOE representative.
