Legacy 2014 funding available to Encourage Physical Activity

There are a range of funding programmes available through the Legacy 2014 project, that covers a variety of sectors and interests, including sport and recreation, the environment, community regeneration and the arts.

For example:

  • The Legacy Active 2014 fund has £10 million fund to help build or upgrade places within communities where people can go to get active or take part in sport
  • BIG Lottery 2014 Communities Fund is a micro-grant programme offering £300 to £2,000 to grass roots sports and community organisations to encourage more people to take part in sport or physical activity.
