Guidance for Fire-lighting activities

Staff should have adequate skills and experience to run small fire-lighting activities and manage risk with suitable control measures. No formal training or qualifications are required, many people have experience in lighting fires in other areas of life, these skills may be transferable​ to a group setting. If an individual lacks confidence or competence many Local Authorities and organisations can provide training opportunities.
